Modern Electric provides quality tattoos made to last a lifetime. Our artists go above and beyond to facilitate a caring and safe environment that caters to bodies of all sizes, all skin tones, and accessibility needs. Sanitation, comfort and respect are among our top priorities.
Each artist at Modern Electric works at their own set hourly rate with their own policies around deposits, as described on each of their pages. Modern Electric occasionally hosts studio-wide flash sales, art shows, and other events. To keep up to date, sign up for our newsletter.
SHOP POLICIES
Modern Electric reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason.
Modern Electric has a zero tolerance policy for any racism, Islamophobia, sexism, transphobia, or ableism.
You must be at least 18 years old to get tattooed, NO EXCEPTIONS.
NO Drinking or drugs are permitted on the premises, nor will we tattoo anyone under the influence.
In order to facilitate a space that is accessible for everyone, we maintain a low scent environment at our shop and request that our clients avoid any heavily scented products (including fragrances, lotions, body mists, cologne, etc) before their appointment. *If you arrive heavily scented, you may be asked to reschedule.*
Masking is required- if you don’t have your own, a mask will be provided for you.
Modern Electric does not offer refunds
Tips are always welcome but not mandatory ☺︎
Only one guest or support person (18+ only) will be permitted to enter the tattooing station with the client.

WALK - IN POLICY
Modern Electric does take same day appointments. The best way to secure a walk in appointment is by giving us a call between the hours of 12pm-7pm, 7 days a week
There is no guarantee on our ability to provide same day service to walk-ins
